Chase up Dec 85 issue from Aero Club rep discussion on Aero 50hp cars which 3 had Sodomka bodies one played in film Valento the the good natured; colour and final destiny unknown; 2nd for Mr Kabes Junior the son of the owner ar the Aero factory rumors exist it surives in Eastern Bohemia and 3rd car one the mag discovered was made for a Aero Dealer in Lberec (Reichenberg) in Northern Bohemia ; as far as car being displayed in France we doubt it too; although the factory made a Aero 30 that won Concours de Elegance in Paris in 1935 and 1936 ; Mr Basek who died last year designed the first car the Aero 30hp in 1932 and production started 1934 ; the aero 50hp appeared in 1936 ; then he left the factory and started making machines on his own ; except for engine the aero 50 differed only from the 30 in details top speed was 140kph ; serveral 100 Aero were exported to Western Europe ; Poland ; the Balkans and even Japan and Argentina ; In Switzerland a small factory assembled cars from delivered parts ; we do not believe car magazine featured was made for a Nazi Gerneral but believe it got taken from its owner; no photos
